Como se ve en el video podemos usar el comecocos como un instrumento para aprender español.

La actividad que sugerimos es motivar a los alumnos a que hagan diferentes comecocos, un ejemplo puede ser hacer un comecocos con los colores; entonces un alumno le puede preguntar al otro, “muéstrame el color azul”, si señala correctamente el color azul, se abre la papeleta del color azul, y los alumnos podrán ver como se escribe azul en inglés y en español. Lo importante en esta actividad es ver el comecocos como un instrumento de juego y de aprendizaje de vocabulario.

As you can see on the video we can use the fortune teller as an instrument to learn Spanish.

We suggest that you motivate the children to use a different fortune teller for each lesson they want to cover. For example, if the children want to learn about colors they will build a fortune teller with different colors. You can have a classmate to ask another one “can you please show me the color blue?”  As the kid show with his finger the color he/she was told, he/she can open the specific part and they both can see how the color is written in Spanish and English at the same time.

The important objective about this activity is to be able to use the fortune teller as a game, and a learning instrument at the same time. Always remembering that the main objective is to help them with new vocabulary!
