Te invitamos a aprender una palabra nueva en español todos los días!
A comienzos del año 2009, comenzamos una sección que llamamos “La palabra del día” y diariamente hemos alimentado esa sección con una nueva palabra, hoy existen tal vez unas 760 palabras!
Aquí vas a encontrar la palabra nueva, la traducción de esa palabra en inglés, una fotografía alusiva a esa palabra, una frase en la que se usa esa palabra, y la pronunciación en Español tanto de la palabra como de la frase.
Todos usamos diferentes estrategias para aprender un idioma, personalmente creo que es una buena estrategia usar el método de repetición. Si repetimos y repetimos una palabra a diario, finalmente vamos a aprender esa palabra, y la vamos a poder usarla sin dificultad.
En el menú de “La palabra del día” encontramos tres opciones (buttons) que nos ayudan a ese aprendizaje, la primera opción es dada por el botón de archivo, aquí vas a encontrar la lista de todas las palabras que han sido publicadas desde un comienzo. La segunda opción es la flecha que te lleva a la palabra del día anterior o del día siguiente, y con la tercera opción vas a escuchar la pronunciación en Español, tanto de la palabra, como de la frase.
Si escuchamos, repetimos lo escuchado, pronunciamos nuevamente la palabra y la oración, y finalmente escribimos lo aprendido, vamos a reforzar nuestro conocimiento en el Español y lo más importante, vamos a aprender algo nuevo todos los días!

We invite you to learn a new Spanish word everyday!
At the beginning of 2009, Online free Spanish start a new session call “the word of the day “and everyday day since that we have overgrowth this session adding a new word every day. As of today we have over 760 words!
Here you are going to find a new word everyday with the translation to the English language, a picture representing the word, and a phrase where you can see how to use the word. In addition, we offer a sound button were you can listen to the pronunciation of the word and the phrase.
Everybody uses different strategies to learn a new language; I personally recommend the repetition mode. If we are constantly repeating a new word every day, we are going to be able to learn it. In addition be able to use it without difficulty.
In the menu bar, you are going to find a link named “la palabra del dia”. In this area you can find three different options, they are going to help you with this new type of learning. The first option is called archive button or in Spanish “archivo”, this section offers the list of all the words that have been added since the beginning. The second option is that arrow key, this key helps you go to the next day word, and come back to the day before word. Finally the third option is the sound button; here you can hear the Spanish pronunciation of the word and the phrase of the example.
Repeat! Repeat while you hear! Pronounce the word and the phrase as much as you can. Finally write what you learn and practice as much as you can. And do not forget that with this method you can learn something new every day!
